New Delhi and Bengaluru | September 07, 2019 03:12 IST Chandrayaan-2 Landing Live Updates: The Indian Space Research Organisation has lost contact with the Chandrayaan-2 lander minutes before it was to land on the Moon. Isro is analysing data from the Vikram lander's descent and is hoping to make contact with the spacecraft. India's second mission to the Moon, Chandrayaan-2 was attempting to land near the south pole of the Moon. Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram houses the six-wheeled rover Pragyaan that was to explore the lunar surface for around 14 Earth days. The Chandrayaan-2 mission also consists of an orbiter that will revolve around the Moon for around a year.
